Took a 42″ two phase snow thrower attachment for a ford LGT yard tractor and minimize-butchered-welded it up to suit the front of my ATV. So significantly did a examination run in large moist snow It functions, drives, pushes, better then I assumed it would. Factor is constructed like a tank And way more affordable then them great new shiny 00 – 00 ATV blowers. I will submit much more vids when its painted up and blowing one-2 ft of snow. thnks4looking D~
Movie Rating: four / five
cool but i will let the snow melt and use my warn blade and winch for that price, damn!
My buddy bought one he was not impressed almost 5g and it bogs down in moderate snow. We ended up buying a used walk behind we then modified it to work with the quad and had twice the performance with a motor that was actually 1hp less
@atvtracks For a 1/8th of that you can get a snow plow. It will also do a better job..
or just buy a regular snowblower for about 500 dollars brand new….or get a PLOW on your quad….
@atvtracks Or just buy a proper tractor that can blow snow and much more…
2 Things keeps me from getting one, 1.st is, the price is way too high and i agree with others, i can buy a tractor with snowblower and use it year round. The 2nd is I can’t found dealers, and the warranty is NO good unless someone local can service it. I am not waiting 3 weeks to have one fixed when the snow is coming down.

$5000, I’ll get a riding mower with the snowblower attachment. Snow removal in winter and grass mowing in summer, all on one engine, less gas. Keep the ATV for play time.
I would love to have this, but i agree it is alot of money.
@bigbauer9 No doubt right?
i still prefer snow plow than snow blowing it bc wen u plow it u can actualy lift the plow up this thing has to be a tank to lift up wit a winch i jus personaly dnt like this design
In the heavy wet spring snow it is creeping in about 4 – 6 inches. Seems to lack power.
@rnasap I agree!! Make it do some work because most of us do not have time to only do half a pass at a time..
Well, If I am going to spend $5k next year, I want to see a full swath of 11″ or more. Thanks….I will be waiting.
$5000?! I want one but not at that price! Wow.
well it is a girl driving it…theres your poor performance!! hahaha jkjk dont take me seriously on that
I can assure you that these things work very well. The big atv blower has a dedicated 23HP V-twin engine. The big UTV blower has a 27HP V-twin.
Not to be too critical but where in the video
does it show it taking a full swath of 1 foot deep snow. All I see is half and quarter
swath widths, which tells me something
about the performance that someone didn’t want us to see. Correct me if I am wrong please.
No problems at all. The manufacturer has done a great job with this unit.
Have you ever had any problems with the shutes freezing up? I am looking at buying a 3 year old used one that has the crank handle, but am tempted to buy a new one just for the power shutes. The power shute looks nice but will it break or stop working?
This is VERY NICE video.
looks like you are using the best quad made 3 thumbs up i have the same quad only with a plow love the video nice work !!
that costs as much as a atv
4795. plus 250 shipping, gary
how mutch do these go for?
Cheap but Functional and Practical A++++++++++++++ for you!
just be easyer just use the old lawn tracter that was on the snow blower then get you nice atv rusty from the salt from the road snow
Ha definitely go take some high school welding lessons again, but otherwise nice work.
Sobota.. wieczór, a ja oglądam odśnieżarki ..
Moje życie nie ma sensu
@122ffsdd I wouldn’t think there would be a need for a counter weight, since he welded casters to the blower frame.
do u have counter weights on the back cause thats a lot of weight on the front?
cool man. but you need some welding lessons LOL
yeeeeeeeeeeehawwwwwwwww
hey, it beats shoveling! the only problem you are going to have is turning especially when you cut a path in deep snow since there is so much out in front you get locked into your own channel. I know from experience.
nice good make!!!
I stopped watching 10 seconds in and started plaing my air banjo. . .
@smile0245 honda is very very veeeryyy bad….
u should try making it have all contorls on the atv and a shut off switch under the seat so when you get off the blower stops
nice welds hahahah
where did you get the snowblower for that cheap
To the haters of this video, you guys probably are the ones that put the lawnmower or snowblower out for the trash when it doesn’t start anymore. Get a life…please.
I like your idea, nice engineering on your part. Whoever didn’t like this is obviously not mechanically inclined at all. Hope you got it working to where you’re happy. Great job!
3 Sundays that you will NEVER get back and that thing will break when you need it the most.
please reply. im thinking about getting that atv. is it good?
thats bad ass
can you detach it?
omg best dead rising weapon ever!
@drewme1010 i love craiglist every thing is cheap but you can fi and paint it and it looks like brand new
the builder had as much fun building the unit as he does running it! Sure glad if snowed so he could check out operation. Hope that exhaust tube rotates another 20 degress aft. Good work Yankee DIY and save spirit!!!
Some day ATV’s will have a PTO
